Bansal Institute of Research, Technology & Science (BIRTS) is committed to providing a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all students, faculty, and staff. In accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, the institute has constituted the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) to address and prevent incidents of sexual harassment within the campus.
The ICC functions as a confidential and impartial body to ensure timely redressal of complaints and to promote gender sensitivity and dignity at the workplace.
The committee comprises representatives from faculty, non-teaching staff, and students to ensure inclusivity and fairness.
Any student or staff member facing harassment may submit a written complaint to the ICC Chairperson or any committee member. Complaints are handled with strict confidentiality and sensitivity, and necessary action is taken as per statutory guidelines.
BIRTS believes in fostering an environment built on dignity, equality, and mutual respect. Through awareness programs, sensitization workshops, and strict policy implementation, the institute ensures a gender-sensitive and inclusive campus culture.
