The Department of Civil Engineering, established in 2010, is dedicated to imparting high-quality education and practical training in the field of Civil Engineering. The department emphasizes a strong foundation in core civil engineering principles, supported by hands-on experience through well-equipped laboratories, fieldwork, site visits, and industry-oriented learning practices.

The program aims to develop technically competent and ethically responsible professionals capable of contributing effectively to infrastructure development, construction management, structural engineering, and sustainable development. Emphasis is placed on problem-solving skills, use of modern engineering tools, teamwork, and lifelong learning, ensuring that graduates meet the evolving needs of industry, society, and higher education.

PO1: Engineering Knowledge
Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to solve complex engineering problems and develop appropriate technical solutions.

PO2: Problem Analysis
Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences to arrive at substantiated conclusions.

PO3: Design / Development of Solutions
Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health, safety, cultural, societal, and environmental factors.
